The University of Manchester is, for the first time, involved in the UK-wide Disability History Month awareness project, and this year’s theme is the First World War. Manchester City Council’s Equality and Diversity team has asked History’s Dr. Ana Carden-Coyne to give the inaugural lecture to be held at the Manchester Public Library at 5pm on December 17.
