On Wednesday 11th November at 6.20 p.m., HOME in Manchester will be screening My Nazi Legacy: a tense and moving documentary in which Internationally-renowned human rights barrister Philippe Sands QC goes on a road trip with two sons of SS officers, to find out if they can admit to their fathers’ crimes. When they arrive in the Ukrainian town where Sands’ own family were killed, the three men are forced to confront history in a unique way.

The Screening will be followed by a discussion featuring the History Department’s own Dr Jean-Marc Dreyfus, Reader in Holocaust Studies, along with Philippe Sands, Niklas Frank, and the film’s director David Evans. The event is featured as part of the UK Jewish Film Festival which is this year located in Manchester from 8-22 November- for more details click here.
