One of our PhD students, Ian Field, is one of the winners of the University’s competition to provide artwork for the new Alan Gilbert Learning Commons, which will be opening soon.

Congratulations to Ian – you can see some of his images below. About his submission to the competition, Ian wrote: ‘My image shows the complicated and occasionally whimsical nature of research and learning. I also thought it might look pretty on the wall.’
