The Evelyn Roskell book prize of £500 (named after a student in Ashburne Hall whose husband later was Professor of Medieval History) is awarded to students of history, Latin or archaeology, who have been resident in Ashburne. 

This year, Charlotte Johnson has been awarded the Prize for her contribution to life at Ashburne Hall and her exam results.
